This in-development ashcan playtest document is currently 48 pages long.

Contains:

  •  Rules to create: 8 classes, each one with multiple backstory starters, unique abilities and metric/stat bonuses, and a glimpse into the greater world-foams of the game
  • 18 enemies, with more to be added! From kidz obsessed with doing tricks to a dagger-slinging speech-speaking kaiju chicken to a tech-dragoon working for a royal corpo overlord
  • 100 fake aesthetics for you to describe your character with
  • Some brief lore about each known region, to give you a starting point for an adventure you & your players would want to experience, without clogging the game with discussions about what's "canon"
  • New combat methods: a new approach to combat in a BORG-like
  • A Straight-up TRICKS MECHANIC, because it's sick as frick and being able to do explosive stuff at any time is too delicious for us to give up
  • An altered -and  tragic! - Death Mechanics System that can crush the game world, force you to make ethical choices, allow you to hold on to your character... or let them flounder pitifully. Described by a fellow designer as "too interesting to discuss with the time we have on stream"
  • 25 melee weapons to go along with the new world and new approach to combat
  • 20 ranged weapons that show off what the S.T.A.B. system can do
  •  Around 44 new abilities including Aberrations (body manipulation), Psytek (using tech you ain't seen yet), and Sigil magic (weirdly good at messing with social propriety?)

This game is playtest material for our heavily modified hack of the versatile CY_borg system by Stolkholm Kartell.
